Alan is a retired fisherman or a fisherman retired, neither sound right so lets just say he doesn't work anymore but still fishes more days than some people work in a year. Known affectionately among fellow Cape anglers as "Mr Yellowtail", rumour has it he even thinks like a yellowtail, see the coulour of his jacket .... no coincidence.
