Hi my name is Sean and I'm a fishaholic.
Picked up a fishing rod at the age of 6 and fished ever since. Started with bass and tilapia fishing, later included rock and surf together with inshore ski-boat fishing. Fly fished the Cape mountain streams for years before entering the world of competetive bass fishing. Missed the ocean too much so returned to focus on lure angling for gamefish like yellowtail and garrick.
Have always been interested in boats and boating and have first hand experience in most things boating. Currently running a 4.7m center console bay boat. All my tackle is by Shimano, never let me down through many years of abuse.
I'm thoroughly enjoying lurecasting but partake in all forms of fishing anywhere from Langebaan on the West Coast to Cape St Francis on the East. In real life I'm a grape farmer, otherside 40, married and fortunate to have two boys who can take me fishing one day. Live for fishing but can't fish for a living.
